FAQ — ATV Tuning with Maptuner Nano

What is Maptuner Nano?

Maptuner Nano is a compact, wireless ECU tuning and diagnostics device controlled from your smartphone via the MyMaptuner app. It lets you flash tunes, adjust performance parameters, unlock features, view live engine data, and more.

How does it work?

Plug the Nano into your vehicle’s ECU/diagnostics port, pair it with your phone, and use the app to select and apply a tune from the library. You can also monitor sensors in real time, log data, and read/clear fault codes directly in the app.

What do I need to get started?
  • Maptuner Nano device
  • MyMaptuner App (iOS/Android)
  • Tuning License for each vehicle you want to program
  • Vehicle cable (only if your model requires one)
Which ATV/UTV brands and models are supported?

Coverage includes popular ATV/UTV platforms such as Can-Am, Polaris, CFMOTO and Segway. Exact features (read/write, monitoring, etc.) and any cable requirements vary by model and year—always check the compatibility and ECU permissions pages before ordering.

Can I revert to stock?

Yes. You can switch between performance tunes and the original stock calibration using the app.

Is installation difficult?

No—setup is quick. Identify your Nano model, connect it to the vehicle, and follow the in-app steps to sync and flash. Recovery and repair workflows are built into the app if needed.

Do I need one Nano per vehicle?

You can use the same Nano across multiple vehicles. Purchase one tuning license per vehicle you intend to program.

Will it affect reliability or safety features?

Tunes are designed to work with the vehicle’s existing safety systems. As with any performance modification, use high-quality fuel as specified by the tune and maintain your vehicle properly.

What about shipping and support?

We’re based in Sweden and ship worldwide via FedEx 2-Day. US support hours (local time): ET 2:00 AM–3:00 PM • CT 1:00 AM–2:00 PM • MT 12:00 AM–1:00 PM • PT 11:00 PM–12:00 PM (previous evening).

I’m a workshop—can I tune customer vehicles?

Yes. The Nano series and the online tuning library are designed for shops and dealers as well as private users. Contact us for dealer bundles.
